Oak School Teachers and Staff

Paige Bailey

Lead Teacher, Co-Director

Paige is a graduate of Boulder Journey school, receiving her Masters Degree in Education and Human Development. Having taught preschool for the past 11 years, she has taught in both Colorado and California in Reggio Emilia inspired schools, where she has honed her love for working with children in a holistic and child-centered approach. She and her husband love camping, live music, rock climbing, paddle boarding, and having a nice glass of wine with friends.

Paige believes that in bringing together each part of a child’s world, we can create a support system that builds their sense of joy, pride, confidence, and love of learning. Children play such a vital role in our community and hold an innate curiosity about the world around them – she feels immense gratitude to be allowed a part of their exploration, discovery, and growth.

Joce (Josie) Camey

Lead Toddler Teacher, Co-Director

Joce (pronounced Josie) has over 15 years experience working with young children and is trained in the Love and Logic method. She taught preschool for over 7 years and then worked as an autism behavior specialist. Excited and grateful to be a part of each child's growth and development, Joce finds joy in being able to see the world through their eyes. Journeying with and alongside them are key to children feeling loved, validated, seen and heard.

Joce lives with her amazing dog, Auggie Geuissepie, a big, happy mutt and enjoys spending quality time with friends and partner. She loves going to live music and concerts, paddle boarding, taking hikes in nature, going to the gym, playing with Auggie, trying out new restaurants, and practicing self care. It's important as a teacher!
