Waiting List:

We currently have a waiting list.
Please do not let this discourage you from adding your child to our list for the following year. There is no obligation to be added to the waiting list. To sign up for the waiting list, please email us with your first and last name, email address, phone number, child's name, child's birth date, and any additional comments. We will guide you through the application process from there.

It is very difficult to predict the movement of the waiting list. All prospective families are added to the same list. When a space is available we start at the top, contacting the families of the children that fit into the age range for the space we are looking to fill.

Tuition and Enrollment:

APPLICATION FEE

A one-time fee application fee of $150 is due with the application. Application fees are only required of new students. Priority is given to currently enrolled students and to siblings.

ENROLLMENT deposit AND MATERIALS FEE

An annual $300 materials fee is due for each student. This fee is not refundable or transferable.

To hold your space as a new or returning student, a $1000 deposit is required when contracts are signed (or resigned in the spring). The deposit difference will be taken out of your first month’s tuition for the following school year in the fall.

TUITION

Tuition is paid for the academic year and is not tied to the number of days of school in any given month, nor is it reduced due to sickness or vacations. Payments are made monthly. Tuition is non-refundable and non-transferable. A 10% tuition discount is given to the siblings of currently enrolled students.

RE-ENROLLMENT

Re-enrollment begins in January with contracts due in early March. The annual re-enrollment deposit is due with signing of the contract, and material fee is due with your August tuition payment (first tuition payment for the fall). After June 1, all spaces not secured with an enrollment deposit will be offered to new families.

Our program offers three program schedules listed below.

Preschool/PreK Program:

Please contact us for the most current tuition and schedule information.

As a small school, we are unable to offer UPK because of the high costs of administering UPK.

Full Time: M-F; rest time included.

Half Time: M-W; rest time included.

Part time: M-F, 8am - 12pm; morning choice time, snack and lunch time. No rest time included.

We value your child’s education and the environment we create is truly unique and special. In order to create an individualized curriculum with care and intention, keep our class sizes low, and facilitate teacher-frameworked/child-led learning, our costs reflect this dedication.

Next Steps

Once we’ve received and reviewed your application, and you haven’t been in to visit us yet, we will contact you to set up a time to meet. (If we are at capacity, you will be notified and asked if you’d like to be on a wait list.)

Visiting us is a time for us to meet you, your child and your family; to answer more in depth questions; and for you as the parent to have a chance to observe the style and feel of the school.

At this meeting, we will extend an offer for you to join Oak or be on our waitlist and go over details for your and your child’s joyful journey ahead.

School Calendar

Below is a link to the 2023-24 school calendar.

Class Information

Applicants for preschool must be 2.5 years old by their first day of entering school and fully potty trained.

Applicants for PreK must be 4 years old by the first day of the entering year.

Admissions Decisions

Upon determination that space is available in a certain class and the Oak School feels it can meet the needs of the prospective student, notification of acceptance will be emailed and includes the Letter of Invitation, Enrollment Agreement, and Tuition & Fees policy.

Observations and assessment of the applicant, information from former teachers (if applicable), and the completed application are taken into consideration.

A variety of other factors are taken into consideration such as gender, age, and learning styles to ensure a well-balanced and diverse class configuration.
